Pat Ridgway's paintings reflect the natural beauty, light and energy of her garden, our forests, and the West Coast.

She manages to capture their intrinsic beauty rather than just portray a flat image, and so transmits to the viewer their inner light and life.
Her paintings are inspired by her love of the natural world and she is active in the environmental movement.

In recent years Pat has been exploring abstract images, and found a new following and interest in her work. She signs these pieces as PaRi, as they capture another side of her art.

Various sized giclee prints on stretched canvas, of most images, can be ordered. Also 5"x7" handmade cards, and some originals are available. She takes orders via email. Art classes in her studio are also arranged by demand and availability. Visitors are welcomed to her studio, by appointment.

Pat, originally from North Vancouver, now lives near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.

Ridgway has shown her work in the Vancouver area and galleries on the Sunshine Coast. Her paintings are also in collections in England, Switzerland, and Holland.

This chronicle of Ian's life begins in England and continues in Vancouver, from the 1960's onward. He and others recount their experiences of the Counter Culture Scene at its height including the Mission and Langley Pleasure Faires, Habitat Forum, Strawberry Mountain, McCabe and Mrs Miller, as well as tales of the alternative community at the Maplewood Mudflats.
